Marriott International has once again been recognised for the CSR efforts regarding employment fairness, this time by Equal Opportunity magazine, a diversity recruitment publication first published in 1968 in the United States.
Mariott has been named by the magazine as 25th in the line up of the “Top 50 Employers” in the US.
Equal Opportunity Magazine surveyed their readers to nominate the top companies that they would desire to work for and offers an encouraging company culture for minorities and disabilities. To ensure an accurate ranking, the magazine and their team spent an extended amount of time filtering and evaluating their readers’ choices.
“We appreciate Equal Opportunity Magazine for choosing Marriott as a notable employer,” said David Rodriguez, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Human Resources Officer. “I am proud of our commitment as a place where all associates are valued and offered the highest opportunity to reach their professional goals.”
Recently Marriott has also been named as “best multinational hotel workplace”, “100 Best Workplaces for Women in 2015”, “Best Companies to Work For in India” and a “committed Asian Pacific American employer”. Marriott has also recently been involved in its second Women in Leadership Asia Pacific Conference and a commitment to tackle Arab youth unemployment, amongst other worthwhile initiatives.
