The Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai has adopted the GreenEarth Cleaning system for its dry cleaning operations.

The twin tower hotel has converted their dry cleaning operations from Perc to GreenEarth in a continued effort towards delivering sustainable tourism.

The system will deliver dry cleaning to guests, professional clients in the business centre and employees, with all dry cleaning processed at the hotel site.

The hotel agreed to adopt the new dry cleaning system after careful examination of all alternative solvents, according to GreenEarth.

A statement from GreenEarth on the company’s website says that “based on the need for a solution that is without health or safety risks, the fact that GreenEarth is odour-free and has the highest flash point of any other Class 3A solvents made it a natural choice for the property.”

Nizar Al Mohammad, laundry manager at Jumeirah Emirates Towers said, “We are excited about the change as it will make for a much more pleasant work environment for our employees who can be assured that working with GreenEarth poses no risk to their health or safety.”

The Jumierah Emirates Towers has been awarded Best Business Hotel in the Middle East for the past nine years, and in 2012, the hotel was awarded Green Globe Certification.
