‘The greenest luxury hotel chain in the world” has announced the expansion of its hotel portfolio in Bharat, with the opening of ITC Grand Bharat.
ITC Hotels, India’s largest luxury hotel chain, has expanded its presence in India with the launch of ITC Grand Bharat, a five-star hotel and golf resort in the New Delhi Capital Region. The ITC Grand Bharat is situated within a 1.2 square kilometre site that features 100 luxury suites, 4 presidential villa, 4 dining offerings, indigenous spa brand and a 27-hole golf course.
According to the company, the resort will carry through ITC’s ethos of “Responsible Luxury,” with the ITC Grand Bharat becoming the country’s first all-suite retreat.
Situated in Gurgaon, a 45 minute drive from New Delhi, amidst the ancient Aravali hills, the 300-acre estate is, according to ITC, a manifestation of ITC’s philosophy to create hotels that are “rooted in the soil,” or reflective of the region in which they reside, the ITC Grand Bharat was built in tribute to the grandeur of India (Bharat is the Hindi name for India), with nationally-inspired architecture, interior design and warm Indian hospitality.
ITC Hotels aims to provide “Responsible Luxury” through eco-embedded architecture and interior design with eco-easy services and eco-sensitised staff who promote planet positive luxury experiences for guests.
The company has earned the LEED Platinum rating for all its luxury hotel properties.
The new ITC Grand Bharat will combine local traditions, historic architecture, modern technology, and authentic cultural experiences to deliver a luxury guest experience without burdening the environment or the local community.
